The fan in my laptop broke down.
It's making all sorts of worrying noise and vibrations, and the keyboard heats up extremely quickly. If I don't shut down within 30 mins to let it cool down, it gives me the accursed BSOD and comes back with a black screen saying 0003 = Thermal sensor error.
Not a good thing.

Take it apart. See what's wrong with it. Then take the fan to PCWorld and see if they have fans of a similar size. Alternatively. get one of those laptop cooling pads and see if that works. Perhaps you're working the computer too hard?
It might just be that its clogged with dust around the motor. Use ure blower brush to get it out. If there's some impregnated with lubricant, then pick it out with forcepts - but be careful. Make sure you ground yourself first.
Why not stick the whole thing on dry ice?
err, how about sending it into fujitsu for a check up? Its funny, my mac heats up to crazy temperatures but it still runs fine. Great thing in winter, keeps me legs warm...
Alternativly, get a new laptop!
