Last night - dinner with the SingSoc people... 9 of us in all. Spent over an hour waiting in line... dined at Crystal Jade Kitchen at Taka. We were so full... spent some time strolling around Orchard and browsing in Borders after that. I'm refraining myself from getting more new books... gotta first finish reading the many untouched ones that are resting on my shelves and desk. Currently concentrating on The Wealth and Poverty of Nations, one which my dad had been recommending since my Commerce days in Sydney. It attempts to answer 'why some are so rich, and some so poor'. It deals with geography, politics, technology, history, business and economics, people relations... ooo I like it.
