About
Talfryn (Welsh). From the top end of the hill… let the beauty we love be what we do.
Husky. Ecologist by training, weekend naturalist, hobbyist photographer, nature guide, lifelong Scout, of a cross-cultural upbringing (Hong Konger at heart, infant Singapore citizen, ex-Sydneysider, ex-Londoner), appreciator of verbal, intellectual and social intricacies and the finer esoteric things in life. She has frequently been accused of being too serious, is well aware that she looks half-a-decade younger than she really is, and always has difficulty deciding which accent she’d like to use.
When not cooped up in the office or hiding behind a camera in the great wild outdoors, she’s likely to be buried beneath a pile of books and literary material. Aside from a fascination with anything animal, her other interests are politics, philosophy, history of both the natural and modern kind, and some light anthropology and sociology. Her personality, fortunately, is more predictable than the nature of her next destination and activity in time and space.
She has no strong dislikes, except chilli, durians, papayas, and maybe numbers, since she’s admittedly poor with them.

I meet a very nice chinese man working as a genitor at my gym. Talking to him this week I noticed how much he misses home. He invited me to his home to have lunch and meet his wife. They are such nice people. They talked all the time about Sun Moon Lake but they did not had any pictures to show me the beauty of their homeland. I google the lake and came across some pictures but I loved yours.
I would like to be able to frame a beautiful picture like yours and give to them so they can always remember their home and share with others. The picture will not be commercialized in any way. I just want to bring some happiness to these hard working people.
I would appreciated if you could help me make that happen.
Thank you so much,
Maggie
