Outside Gloucester Road tube station. I saw this a while ago, and have been wanting to take a picture of it but I keep forgetting. I'll take a better one of it when I bring my D200 out. Don't be too skeptical too soon. This actually works, in spite of what we're inclined to assume (and be amused at).

I think I saw that box there when I was still in London. I dunno…it seems like a wrong place to put this case! They should put it somewhere like Fulhum. You should hear about some of the stabbing stories I have heard over the summer!!
This knife Amnesty thing was on the news too back then…HAHA, I really wonder if the ‘criminals’ would really just give up their knives when they pass the box! Somehow doubt it!!

Hmm yeah I was doubting its usefulness too when I first saw it. But if you do some searches, it’s been very sucessful, or at least, beyond expectations – more than thousands of surrendered weapons in some boroughs/counties! This is one funny country.

You are right about the funny country bit. But nothing can beat Japan!
